What are the things that you wish all couples knew BEFORE they got married? What are the things couples most fight about, and how could those fights be avoided?
Everyone knows when getting married you need to consider your future: where you’ll live, when you’ll have kids and how many; and how you plan to live your life.
However, many forget to also discuss financial issues such as joint checking accounts and keeping private assets separate as well as maintaining your own checking account.
It’s also important to focus on the emotional aspects of the relationship. Couples often overlook the fact that we all have an unconscious belief of how a “husband” or “wife” is to behave and what requirements will be expected of them.
The sensual aspect of the relationship is all too often overlooked and as the months and years progress it’s the first aspect of the relationship to suffer and create an avalanche of problems. Share your desires and fantasies with your partner. If you don’t feel comfort doing so, your relationship is already in hot water.
These are just a few issues to address to avoid fights in your marriage (or partnership) and begin living happily ever after.
